Well, that helps a bit, doesn't it...? Good stuff from the Shakers...it would have been nice to see the new boy get a run out, maybe next time...leaves Bury mid table, and I would have taken that pre season..what's going on at the much vaunted Huddersfield..?
Up North, your favourite Fifers squeaked a backs-to-the-wall,ten men, penalty save type of win in Perth, which leaves the similarly just-promoted Dunfermline in a quite remarkable 5th in the SPL,but probably not for long,I assure you...
This weekend we've got Wycombe Wanderers...now,I don't even know where Wycombe is,never mind to where they may wander,so I don't know...help me..Up North, the Pars have their first serious test away to Dundee Utd....I'll take a draw, but I think we might edge it..
P.S. Holty,I contacted the club (a Mr. Sorfleet),but only just recently...I'll keep you posted...cheers

I only managed to see the goals from Tuesday on Sky, but they all three looked good. Ryan Lowe seems to be going from strength to strength and while he is fit it looks like we always have a chance to score just like last season. I would have taken survival at the start of the season and still would. Consolidation might sound a little better. Then next season with the slightly better gate receipts maybe we could attract a couple of players to allow us to push on. I don't think aspiring to be a competitive Div 1 outfit is a bad ambition. Compared to where we were just a few years ago it is fantastic.

Oops, forgot to say good luck to Dunfermline up there in the frozed tundra of the real north. As pars was less than certain where Wycombe is I'll help out. Wycombe is a large city situated on the island of Lundi in the Bristol Channel. Its economy is largely based on seal hunting and the maufacture of fondant cream, for which it holds a world wide patent. The main sport until football was discovered (when the first TV was installed in the city in the 1960s) was orienteering, hence the "Wanderers" tag. Now, Wycombe are a force to be reckoned with having risen from non leage to league 2 obscurity in just 20 plus years. Star players such as Stocky Watson and Lance Lube are almost household names in Wycombe. Due to natural gravity on the island almost all of their players lean to the left and this has proved a godsend to teams like Bury who traditionally lean to the right. Expect an openended match with both teams scoring heavily.

That's very comical, well done. Help yourself to a biscuit.
