Today was another load of old wank and I'm fed up. I think the players we've brought in aren't good enough. I used to think Megson was a bit of a plonker but he's pulled a fast one, it's like he's convinced us to sell him our priceless vintage Bentley for a knockdown price and at the same time hired us a Trabant as a little runaround in the guise of Giles Coke. He could teach Arthur Daley a thing or two. I personally can't see things improving in the immediate future. Anyway, part and parcel of being a Bury fan I suppose. Up the Shakers. | ||

I don't know what's up with Cameron Belford at the moment but I wouldn't trust him to catch a cold - chucking the ball into his own net with gay abandon. Lowe will be missed as a player but as a builder of team spirit he is utterly irreplaceable. Today they looked like they needed someone to hold their hands and tell them what to do. | ||

I don't know where his jitters have come from because he's been pretty dependable since he made the position his own. However, we were 3-1 down before his cock-up but they aren't helping. Whether Rochdale are ordinary or otherwise I don't really know, as I've not seen any of their previous performances. All I know is that they'd taken only 2 points from their previous 6 games and that speaks for itself. So, it makes even more worrying to get turned over by them and with some ease. I'm not close enough to what's going on at the club, and I certainly don't get to see enough games to help with this kind of request or I would. It does seem that the kind of folk who used to enjoy this sort of board are either no longer with us or just can't be bothered anymore. Either that or the formal Bury website is now so brilliant that they have flocked to it (if a handfull of cynical Buryites counts as a flock). Your website is like a beacon to us lost souls who are forced to endure life away from Bury. I hope you keep it up. | ||

I've been escorting a high maintenance business acquaintance from LA around the UK and France, so I've not had much chance to get on. However, I've tried to contribute when I can since I've signed up. If half of those who actually hit the site contributed, it would be a much better forum for debate.
