Town played the Pars in a pre season friendly last night, winning 2-1...they looked pretty sharp,by all accounts, and should give Bury a good game...The boy Jordan Rhodes looked a bit nippy, and scored both goals for Town...bizarrely,Jordan Rhodes is the son of former Pars 'keeper Andy Rhodes...
Also, former Pars player Calum Woods, who left East End Park in the summer, made his first team debut with Huddersfield at...East End Park....Woods is a great full back who scores pretty regularly, but I'm not sure he has the wherewithal to deal with Lowe..let's hope not...
Anyway, just a wee update from north of the border, via California...cheers

I expect Huddersfield to wipe the floor with us on the opening day but you never know - this lot have been known to spring a surprise or two . . .

By the way, it was me who left a reply to your message on the footballforums.net website about your grandad Walter Kelly who used to play for Bury. Hope that works out for you, get back to me if it doesn't
