£40,000 per week how can we compete with that?
Sol Campbell is reportely on £40,000 per week!

How on earth can any other club in L2 compete with that?

Well they can't but its not like he said 'I want to sign for a league 2 side, who wants me most?' is it? They are obviously intent on getting up the leagues and this is a massive coup for them. What it means is that their defence will be well organised and difficult to beat this season because of his ability and experience.

It effectively means that there are now two automatic promotion spots up for grabs for those of us who can't attract players with 70 odd England caps and interest from Premiership sides.

Notts' odds of winning the League 2 championship have been slashed to 6/5 (from about 3/1 I think) since he signed for them.
