mahoosive 0 - holy ones 1. report.
eat my shorts you yarkshire twats! that 6 points to the mighty shakers and none to premier leage bratfud!

if the tramps thought our pitch was bad they should try valley parade!

i have to say that bradford were poor. they looked a team short on confidence. we controlled the first half without creating much. started the second much the same. morrell took his goal with relish, smacking home the rebound when their keeper could only parry it. why is it that when we take the lead, we never kill teams off but always start to sit deeper and deeper inviting the opposition on to us? did it again today making for a bit of a squeaky bum last 10 mins.

interestingly, stuart mccall did a lap of the ground saying goodbye to the fans at the end so everyone there knew he ws on his bike.

*note to new massive manager* teach your players to head the ball, you might actually score if you do!

So how many managers can we account for now? I've lost track. What a superb result.

Would you rather see scrappy where we grind the result or attractive football

Having spent too long watching them floundering near the bottom of Div2 over recent years, playing scrappy football and losing by the odd goal far too often, I'd take security, and grinding out results. I think they have played some attractive football this season too. I don't think we should expect Mr Knill to be able to conjour up flowing attractive football each week together with great results with the squad we have. If we can sometimes play attractive footie, and not lose when we are in scrappy mode, I think that is as good as we can expect, and is a hell of an achievement given what went before. Showing resolve and character are qualities you need to do well in this league. Consistency can get you right up into the top 6, without necessarily having better players than other teams in mid table. It would be nice to be able to dominate the opposition and really turn it on from time to time of course. We might need one or two more players to do that. I don't mean field 13 players as that would be crazy. I mean maybe a creative type added to the squad (if we could afford it)
